SURFACE ALLOY
TECHNOLOGY

Our unique metallurgical infiltration process creates a permanent alloy phase layer on carbon steel — not a coating, not a liner, but a fundamental transformation of the pipe surface at the atomic level.

HOW IT WORKS

01
Substrate Preparation
Carbon steel pipe (J55, N80, L80, P110) is thoroughly cleaned and prepared to ensure optimal infiltration conditions.
02
Metallic Element Infiltration
Using our proprietary infiltration process, metallic elements (boron for ZteenBor, aluminum compounds for ZteenSS) are driven into the carbon steel substrate under controlled conditions.
03
Ordered Solid Solution Formation
The infiltrated elements react with the substrate to form an ordered solid solution phase layer — a dense, uniform crystalline structure that is metallurgically bonded to the base material.
04
Quality Verification
Each pipe is tested to API 5CT/5L standards. Layer thickness (100–500μm), hardness, and corrosion resistance are verified before delivery.
Alloy layer cross-section

The alloy layer (amber/gold) is clearly distinct from the carbon steel substrate (dark). The metallurgical bond at the interface ensures no delamination under thermal cycling, mechanical stress, or chemical attack.
